Pookyball collection release
Learn more about Pooky's first Pookyball release at the launch of the Play-to-Earn in 2023.
Genesis edition
Pooky started by releasing a Genesis edition of 1,000 Pookyballs.
Genesis collection balls have a unique initial advantage: they will have:
a Home Event + Club pair
an International Status + Nation team pair
Balls minted after the Genesis edition will only have one of each when minted.
Post genesis edition
After the Genesis edition, Pooky will release several subsequent collections in Public sale.
The dates, size, and price of these mints will be revealed after the Genesis mint.
Subsequent editions
Continuous editions
Pooky will create new ball releases throughout the seasons, based on the Football calendar.
Any release can contain either all, or part, of the rarities.
Pooky will prioritize the stability and growth of NFT value, over the growth of the total playerbase. As such, we're self-imposing the following mechanisms:
After 100k Pookyballs are sold, Pooky will not sell anymore Regular legendaries (up to 1,000 Legendaries minted in accordance with the rarity pyramid)
After 220k Pookyballs are sold, Pooky will not sell anymore Regular epics (up to 10,000 Epics minted in accordance with the rarity pyramid)
Any edition release will aim for the long term Rarity Pyramid below. For example, if there is too high a supply of Epic balls, Pooky can reduce or skip the following Epic continuous edition.
Special editions
Pooky will release special collections for Partnerships and special Events.
These special editions will still follow the target Rarity Pyramid.
