Fixed Attributes

Pookyballs fixed attributes explained.

Every Pookyball can have up to seven fixed Attributes:

  • International Ball

  • Nation Team

  • Home Events

  • Club Team

  • Rarity

  • Season

  • Pressure

Encounter-related fixed attributes

Any Pookyball will be either assigned

  • A Club Team and a matching Home event

  • A Nation Team and the International Ball status

  • Both of these, for special collections, like the World Cup Edition

International Ball

If a player makes a correct prediction on a match where two Nations play, they receive a 10% boost.

For example, it receives +10% points for matches played during the World Cup.

All balls minted before the World Cup will have this attribute.

Nation Team

If a player makes a correct prediction on a match where the Nation team plays, they receive a 10% boost.

For example: if a player makes a prediction with a ball which has Germany has the Nation attribute, he will score +10% on the Germany - Japan group match of the 2022 World Cup.

All balls minted before the World Cup will have this attribute.

Club Team

If a player makes a correct prediction on a match for a club that corresponds to the Club Team Attribute, they receive a 20% boost.

For example: if a player makes a prediction using a Pookyball with Paris as the Club Team Attribute, for any match featuring Paris Saint Germain, correct predictions receive a 20% boost.

If your ball is from Madrid, there is no extra boost if Real Madrid plays Atletico Madrid!

Home Event

Every Pookyball is assigned a Home Event (tournament or league) Attribute. If a player makes a correct prediction on a match for a club playing in the Home Event assigned to the Pookyball, they receive a 10% boost.

For example, Paris Saint Germain versus the Olympique de Marseille is played in the French League. If a player uses a Pookyball with French League as the Home Event Attribute, they receive a 10% boost.

Other fixed attributes

Season - first 10k Pookyballs

The Season boost has been made permanent in January 2024.

Every Pookyball receives a 10% Season boost that is applied to every correct prediction a player makes. The Season boost will last one year from the date of minting.

For example: A Pookyball minted on Matchday 9 of Season 2022-23 will receive +10% Points boost on all correct predictions until the end of Matchday 8 of the 2023-24 season.

Not only will the Pookyball lose the Season boost the following season, it will experience a power DECREASE (Penalty) every subsequent season.

The Season boost is linked to the Pookyball (not the owner). If a player sells a Pookyball after 6 months, the new owner will have 6 months of the Season boost remaining.

How the Season boost works for a newly minted Pookyball:

  • 1st Season = 10% boost (on every prediction)

  • 2nd Season = 0% boost

  • 3rd Season and forward will be defined in future updates.

In a future build players will be allowed to refresh this modifier to 0%.

Pressure

Every Pookyball is minted with 100% Pressure. Pressure decreases every time a prediction is made. Higher Pressures result in a higher boost.

If a player predicts the exact score, Pressure remains intact.

Rarity

Every Pookyball is minted with a Rarity level.

Each Rarity tier from Rare grants a multiplicative 10% extra rewards.

For instance, an Epic ball grants +10% twice ; thus +21% bonus points.
